Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Manage 10+ engineers (permanent, contract, and early-career), with a focus on coaching, performance, and progression through regular 1:1s, feedback, and mentoring.
• Agile Delivery in SAFe: Operate within the SAFe framework, leading PI planning preparation, participating in ART Syncs, collaborating with Product Management, and ensuring predictability and alignment across the release train.
• Technical Direction: Guide architectural decisions and platform evolution for both mobile (React Native) and web stacks, with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and system scalability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Delivery Leads to drive clarity in scope, delivery cadence, and roadmap alignment. Comfortable translating technical topics for non-technical audiences.
• Organisational Influence: Lead squad transitions (e.g. SAFe adoption, contractor off-boarding), onboard new hires, and contribute to cross-team initiatives such as engineering standards, hiring processes, and OKRs.
• Career Development: Successfully transitioned multiple Associate Engineers into productive, confident team members, supporting them from early-career onboarding to independent contribution.
